Guy’s Automotive has used, new, and rebuilt transmissions with warranties of 90 days for the used and one year for the new and re-built transmissions. We have a master re-builder on site and the new transmissions come from dealerships. We use a different process than your local repair shop. Guy’s Automotive remanufactures transmissions in volume for a cost savings that we pass on to you. As a re-manufacturer we are held to the same factory specifications as the OE manufacturers. The transmission is run through several cycles which check all mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems to ensure that your transmission is operating according to factory specifications.

A design flaw is characterized by a repeated failure in a specific area in any transmission. Many products are available from the manufacturer and in the aftermarket to alleviate these problems. Correcting the root cause of transmission failure gives Guy’s Automotive the ability to provide the customer with a transmission which works better and lasts longer than the original model.

We rebuild transmission on-site and can install quality rebuilds as an option. We use only the top quality parts that will upgrade or improve the longevity of your transmission. At Guy’s Automotive we do complete diagnosis and repair on all Automatic or Manual transmissions. We perform work on worn out or sticking clutches including replacement with flywheel machining available.

Guy’s Automotive provides regular transmission fluid changes for all transmission at regular intervals with a state of the art flushing and replacement machine to maintain the optimum in shifting and endurance to avoid stalling or breakdowns in traffic.
