Head gasket jobs done properly. After disassembly, cylinder heads are sent to the machine shop to be checked for cracks and flatness. All repairs are done with quality parts and before leaving Guy’s Automotive, the cooling system is checked for proper functioning.

We replace timing chains with the best quality parts. We check all of the guides and tensioners and will let the customer know when other components are needed.

Freeze plugs are replaced either when the temperature drops below freezing 32 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 degrees Celsius and the customer had water in the block popping out the plug or when they are rusted out.

Turbochargers and superchargers are another type of major repair done at Guy’s Automotive. When the engine feels sluggish, or doesn’t kick into high gear for passing safety in highway situations, this may indicate a worn out or frozen turbo charger or super charger.

Motor mounts and transmission mounts are replaced at Guy’s Automotive. When they are broken or worn out, the engine may vibrate the dash of the car or clunk when engaged or driven. When in doubt, just bring in the car for inspection.
